Description:

KLA-Tencor is seeking an EE with strong analog skills as lead engineer for the development of control electronics for advanced electron beam columns. Essential skills are Analog circuit design, develop and test; High voltage (> 50 kV) circuit design, develop and test; and Digital control circuits and computer interfacing. Additional useful skills include high-bandwidth (to 1 GHz) drivers. Collaboration with mechanical, electrical and system engineers in new product development to develop system specifications, iterate electronic designs and direct assembly and testing is required. Ability to work well within a new product development team environment is needed. This position will have high visibility within the engineering/research community at KT.







Qualifications/Education Desired

B.S. in EE, or equivalent. and 10+ yrs experience in high-voltage, high-stability analog design. Experience must be in discrete component circuits; IC design not sufficient. Practical experience with design and testing of electronic circuits for particle beam columns for microscopy or lithography is highly desired. Higher level degree desirable.







Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Level Degree in EE with at least 5 years of experience.
OR
Master's Level Degree in EE with at least 4 years of experience.
OR
Doctorate (Academic) in EE with at least 2 years of experience.
